The series of illustrations I am submitting for consideration is inspired by the upcoming Year of the Dragon, a significant and auspicious period in the Chinese lunar calendar. The Year of the Dragon holds immense importance for the Chinese people, symbolizing strength, good fortune, and transformation. Dragons are revered for their mythical qualities and are considered a symbol of power, courage, and prosperity. In crafting this series, I sought to capture the essence of these cultural sentiments, infusing each illustration with elements that reflect the majestic and awe-inspiring nature of the dragon.
